Description
On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, the renowned brand from Beaverton unveils a special edition of its legendary Air Max 1 sneakers. The Nike Air Max 1 Chinese New Year Longevity (2020) showcases a glossy leather construction that mimics the look and intricate details of traditional Chinese porcelain bowls. Surrounding the 1987 silhouette is a vibrant pink mudguard adorned with traditional engravings. The toebox features a celestial starry print on a canvas base, complemented by green and blue accents. These accents are adorned with a striking dragon motif that contrasts against the red Swoosh on the panels. Adding to the intricate design, the collar and heel are adorned with flowers and butterflies. The overall design is perfected with a black sole featuring a translucent outsole, designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield.

Nike pays a true tribute to Chinese culture with this colorway, presenting it as an homage to longevity.
