In 2015, a hint of red was already present on the Converse CDG High Black. However, for spring 2022, the two brands have dared to incorporate a more vibrant shade of red: introducing the Converse Comme des Garçons Chuck 70 High Top Black Red profile.

The Converse High Black Red features its classic canvas base, colored in a deep black on this model. This element starkly contrasts with the glossy red of the sole, marked with a black stripe reminiscent of the canvas color of the black Converse. The iconic red heart of Comme des Garçons is aligned with the red of the sole. To soften the look, the Converse Black Red is paired with white stitching, a toe box, and laces.
